Sankofa Publishers operates on a standards-based hybrid publishing model. If your manuscript meets our editorial and structural requirements and is publication ready, we publish it at no cost.
Publishing should not be limited to those with disposable capital. Too many capable voices are blocked by upfront costs. We remove that barrier while maintaining professional standards.

Royalties, Payment & Transparency

Royalty is calculated as 100% of net revenue. Net revenue is defined as gross retail sales minus:

Should an author wish to discontinue publishing with Sankofa, a 30-day written notice is required to allow proper distribution withdrawal and record management according to industry standards.
